Creepy

I realised this last night.

Look at Lilah when she's being particularly smug. Then look at Irina Derevko in S2, during "The Passage", maybe, when she's half-naked and catches Jack staring at her. Look at Irina's smile. Look at Lilah's smile. Look at Irina's smile again.

Lilah Morgan is clearly a long-lost Derevko.

I nominate everybody on my flist to write this. Immediately.

OMG YOU'RE RIGHT!!!

Another offspring they had on the sly? & ;-) Maybe Katya DID have a daughter at some point?

Lilah clearly is the mysterious SpyCousin mentioned in early s4. You know, when Jack tells Nadia that the baby with Irina on the photo is neither Sydney nor herself but, according to Irina, her sister's child. And we know Elena didn't have any kids (she mentions this), so yes: Lilah is the daughter of Katya Derevko!

Perfect! Yeah, that's it, right here!

nd we know Elena didn't have any kids (she mentions this)

Well, she could've lied, but her whole life plan, the way she was makes it incredibly unlikely.

But Katya...yes, I can see that -- her, as a mother, with some American *she* was sent to observe...if not seduce, that was all Katya's initiative. She had the child but left it with him, chosing to disappear into the night. Lilah grew up with a father who always longed for this strange, snarky, strong woman of his past, and raised Lilah in her image.

Beautiful.

I TOLD YOU -- the genderswitch epic is eating my brain, and has just gotten another dimension, like, a C-plot.

Oops.

Also, [livejournal.com profile] eirena just made me sign up for [livejournal.com profile] operation_alias and volunteer to write an Arvin Sloane character discussion post because it seems most people there hate him. And I still have to do my Quark essay. There is no time...

...but there might be, later.

(Vic, [livejournal.com profile] karabair and self had great fun playing out a Sloane-Lilah encounter several months ago, here (http://a-sloane.livejournal.com/1499.html), which you can read in the meantime.*g*)

Sloane and Lilah!

And hrm, [livejournal.com profile] operation_alias, eh? Should I join? If yes, what should I do?

How about pretty icons, specifically for Detente, The Index, The Orphan? I always envy those of you with the ability to create fanart....

*laugh*

I did that with other people, yes. *g* I don't think the show would tickle you on an intellectual level, but if I can just recommend a few episodes so you get to know the team and its interactions...and ooh! You would love Cadman, too! And I just remember, you're a slasher, so hey, maybe you wouldn't hate it....
