Hmmm. The wounds on my leg appear to be turning green. Well, some of them. And swelling. I'm going to go out on a limb (hah! see what I did there??) and say that this is Not Good (tm).

However, given that I am neither dead nor approaching it, I find the following unlikely:
1) tetanus
2) septocaemia
3) anything serious.

It's all because I was running around all week, and not really staying in bed sipping orange juice and keeping my leg elevated. The NHS direct person yelled at me for a while and then ordered me to a doctor.

Woe. I suck at being invalid-like.

However! I have new underwear. And we can all agree that this is clearly more important than non-gangrenous wounds.

1) The use of that icon with this subject matter is disturbing.
2) Your blitheness concerning your wounds is disturbing.
3) The above two facts are not doing much to dissuade me from aiming a dimple at you and asking what your new underwear looks like, and that's disturbing.

1) *nods* Yet it is my 'naked' icon. Mmm, naked icons...

2) But if it was serious, I'd be dead already!! (plus, you missed last year's "ooooh, kangeiko has a heart condition, let's put her on craaaaaa-zay drugs!" debacle, which started off with me being allergic to medication, and ended with me... being allergic to medication. And not with a heart condition AT ALL. The cardiothoracic sugeons ALL FAIL.)

So, really, unless there's a flock of paramedics panicking, I'm perfectly fine.

I got the pink panties BUT IN BLUE (Not the blue panties in blue, if you see what I mean - they're lovely silk shorts, not lace monstrosities) but not the bra, because they only have them in tiny cup sizes! (yes, I have annoying breasts. IT IS A NEVER-ENDING BURDEN.)

2)Sounds like an adventure! An adventure in malpractice! I'm still nervous about the potential for gangrene, but it's your leg, after all.

3) Ooh. The silk shorts look a little funky, but seem like they'd be very comfortable.

2) Hee! I had considered it, I confess... except that I have not enough time to tie my shoelaces, so pursuing a court case would probably kill me. Anyway, there was no permanent damage, so I'm good with it. :)

3) Yeah, the picture's awful, isn't it?? Basically, it's steel-blue silk, in a shorts-type shape that sits on my hips in a fetching manner. Not the mauve draped monstrosity that is crawling up the model's arse. Ick.
