*clutches head*
25 Apr 2006 11:13 pmI got a migraine midway through my stats mock. Yeah, that didn't really make that much of a difference given the tosh I was writing (describe the three activities a project manager is required to participate in at the same time - WTF?). Anyway, got home, went to bed, slept for 6 hours, feel better now.
Is it a good thing, or a bad thing, that I want to write happy fluffy ficlets? I mean, sweet little nothings where the characters go and have adventures and everyone is safe and sound at the end? Years ago,
erykah101 and I sat down and hammered out the plot of a truly silly little adventure story for B5, wherein Sinclair has several gifts sealed for his friends, that are supposed to help them on the path to enlightenment. Or something. In reality, Zathras mixes up the letters that go with the gifts, and everyone ends up receving something, er, unexpected. I'm almost entirely certain that the timeline for the fic was canonically impossible, and people were just too damn cheerful considering that they were in a civil war, but - hey, it was fun.
Um. So. I want to write happy fluffy stories, but they just won't come and it's very vexing.
Also vexing is the need to use words like 'vexing'.
On the other hand, www.kingdomofloathing.com now pwns me. And - and! - I have tomorrow and Friday off, and I'm gonna watch Soulless and sleep lots more. And bake cookies. Yes.
