Someone should write the following...

I can breathe again! My airways are almost unimpeded now, and this makes me happy enough to have a cup of peppermint tea I can 1) taste and 2) smell. Yay. I might even get to sleep tonight! *bounce*

In the meantime, people other than me should write the following:

1) Jayne & Book fic, wherein Jayne and Book do absolutely anything at all. River should also be there.

2) Giles / Ethan fic, wherein they have sex and it is messy and awkward and it is set during/after/just before the S4 Buffy episode where Giles goes all Fyarl on us.

3) More Zoe/Wash fic. Period.

4) A young Laura Bristow and her female friends have a carefully non-political luncheon/dinner/night in, wherein secrets are gleaned and nails are polished and There Is Talk Of The Boys. Look, Laura didn't spend her entire time tapping Jack's phone, you know! Occasionally, she tapped other people's phones too. Yes.

5) Transmetropolitan fic wherein Yelena shags Spider to within an inch of his life. And then writes about it.

6) Master/Darla fic set somewhere around the beginning of the century wherein there is court intrigue, interaction with RL politics, and Darla is punished for running off with Angelus and made to wear that ridiculous outfit. Oh, and there is also Luc, who has character and is interesting and everything.

7) Bester / Garibaldi, please please please. Please. I will... oh, I'll do anything.

8) Marshall & Jack Bristow fic. Because that would be funny and sweet, and would make the world better.

9) Jack / Nadia, wherein Jack has A Talk with Sloane. Because... because.

10) Picard / Q fic, or Picard & Q fic, set post-Tapestry, wherein there is snarkiness. And possibly awkward sex.

I seem to have developed another kink (awkward sex) to join the rather prodigious list of extant kinks. Hmmm. Ah, well.

Everyone should check out voleuse's stuff over at moodfic. Not having seen BSG, I Have only read the Firefly stuff, but it blows me away. There isn't enough Wash fic out there, and voleuse has him down pat. She also wrote Rough Heals, a BtVS/Firefly crossover that centres on Dawn and is perfection in about 500 words. Seriously, check out the pretties!

In other news, I am going up to Edinburgh tomorrow morning, just for the weekend. If I don't respond to emails it'll be because I'm 1) drunk, 2) eating, 3) seeing a show, 4) passed out on someone's sofa. It's not that I don't love you. It's just that there's alcohol up in Scotland.
