I'm not quite sure if the feedback form is working, and I am desperate to leave a note for the lovely person who wrote Strangers in Familiar Places for me - thank you thank you thank you, I love it!!

In other news, I am still over the moon about the splendid birthday party I had yesterday, wherein we had afternoon tea and cake at the Berkeley's Caramel Tea-Room, and followed by drinks in the Blue Room. Tea was drunk. Fans were fluttered. The boys were kitted out in their finest suits. The girls were resplendent in silks and gorgeous shoes. Ooooh, my friends are so beautiful! *coos happily* And my present - wait for it - is a day at a spa!! Add to this the trip to Rome that my parents sprung for, and this is officially the bestest birthday present collection ever!! *coos*

Multiverse Recs, part the first

The first round of reading. Thus far, everything I have come across has been uniformly splendid.

Shore Leave TNG/BSG - Brilliant, simply brilliant. This has a very sympathetic and yet IC Lwaxana, and a deliciously confused Bill Adama. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Lopped-Off Asparagus Spears Futurama/B5. Look at that again. Futurama/B5. Now go read it, because Bender turning up as a present for Londo? Is beyond genius.

That Magical Sum We Were BSG/Doctor Who. It has such a lilting, poetic quality to the phrasing, and it is perfectly in character. Laura Roslin runs into the Doctor. And again. And again.
