yuletide, I thought, "what if..." and gave one of the other fandoms requested a go. I wasn't that familiar with it but luckily had a copy of source; one quick review later and I'm already up to 1,000 words and going strong. I haven't even launched into PLOT yet. WTF, brain, you offer up bunnies like crack for something you're only vaguely familiar with but refuse to cooperate over something you know inside and out? *mutter mutter*
