So, you're never supposed to look back on the year because it does bad things to perspective. Or something. I may have made that up. I would, however, like a prepare a list of things wot I wrote, mainly because I've become a slovenly wench on cyberspace and have neglected to 1) keep offline copies, and 2) organise myself. Anyway, not really a meme, and not in any particular order, here are the 2004 fics I worked on. This list will probably be expanded as I remember things (and as the smutty_claus authors are revealed).


B5 FIC:
RAMPION: Written for bubosquared for the Londothon, G'Kar finds out about the Keeper in a scene different from that in the books. Initially written in my head as a comedy, it somehow came out... a wee bit darker than I had anticipated. Londo/G'Kar.
LA DELUGE: Après moi, la déluge: G'Kar contemplates the rain. Written for 15minuteficlets, although it took me half an hour and so it was never posted to the community.
REAL LIFE: I'm loathe to add this here, as I did not write it this year but, rather, about three years ago. I did, however, finally neaten it up and decide that I wasn't going to expand it into a novella. So. John/Delenn, wherein things are nowhere near perfect.
ANATOMICALLY IMPROBABLE: Comment drabble for selenak. Because we loves selenak, yes, precious, oh yes we do. Londo/G'Kar. With tentacles.


HP FIC:
AN EPISTLE: AKA, From Prof. Severus Snape to the Editor of 'Magic Musings - A Current Events Political Journal'. Snape rants. And raves. In letter-format. WIP.
SHE AND I: smutty_claus entry. The worst time to become a father is eighteen years before a war. Ron/Hermione. AU, future-fic. This was something that I wanted to write as a novella, so it feels very unfinished to me, but with the deadline approaching, I didn't have much choice. I may unpick at some point and do stuff to it.
WALLS: Drabble. If you can read this, thank a teacher.
IF WISHES WERE HORSES: Drabble. Harry dreams.
RENVERSE: Very abstract. I may have been slightly drunk and/or stoned whilst writing this and I just don't remember. Sirius contemplates debts of love and honour. Black/Snape.
UNEXPECTED: Drabble. Unexpected developments during an Occlumency session.
MASS: The Fidelius Charm can do terrible things and Draco looks too much like his father for any good to come of it. Severus/Lucius, Lucius/Draco, Severus/Lucius/Draco. Sort of. One of the major fics I worked on this year, this took me the better part of four months to write.
LE RECIT: merry_smutmas entry. The Final Exam is different for all those who take it. Percy Weasley / Alastor Moody. I fiddled with this from August onwards, but it was about a week before it was due that inspiration finally struck. I'm actually rather pleased at the way it turned out, not least of all because it's been a while since I last wrote genderfuck fic.
NO HIDING PLACE: A student is bullied.
CASUS BELLI: Drabble. Preliminaries.
ANTI-CLIMAX: 15minuteficlets fic. After the war, things carry on.
CEREMONY OF INNOCENCE 5: COATLAXOPEUH: Something is wrong with Ginny Weasley. Tom Riddle/Ginny Weasley, Draco Malfoy/Ginny Weasley.
TURPENTINE: Mrs Black considers murder and bloodlines.
RUMOURS: Drabble. Severus Snape does not have sex.


OTHER FIC:
AN ADEQUATE EXPLANATION (1/?): American Pie WIP. Never attribute to malice what can adequately be explained by stupidity (Nick Daimos). AKA, after Jim and Michelle's wedding, Finch pays Stifler's mom a visit. Bad idea, bad idea, bad idea.
IDLE HANDS: CSI/Brimstone crossover. No link to this fic, because I would dearly love to eradicate it from the face of the earth. In fact, I never wrote it. My computer was attempting to achieve self-awareness, and this was all it could come up with.
ABBATOIR: The Matrix (AU). It's not a Pyrrhic victory if it doesn't matter. Agent Smith/Neo.


STUFF WORKED ON BUT NOT FINISHED / POSTED:
THE WHORE OF BABYLON: Otherwise known as The Fic The Would Not Die. I will finish this fic during 2005 or, so help me, I will invade a small country to stave off my frustration.
THE BEST REVENGE: Bella/Sirius. Because Bella Black is a poor choice for a babysitter.
QUE VIENE EL COCO: This swings in between evilness and schoompyness and just plain drama. I can't decide if I want a dark gen fic, a darker slash fic, or something so h/c sacchrine my teeth with melt. Gah. Gimme a year, I'll write it.
CEREMONY OF INNOCENCE 10: IVY: This is actually complete, but as I haven't written stories 6-9 yet, I'm sticking it here. And I can't post it out of sequence because Actual Plot is happening and gah. Just gah.
THE LONG AND COMPLICATED COURTSHIP OF GINEVRA WEASLEY, aka A DECENT PROPOSAL: Draco/Ginny, Arthur/Molly. Sorta fun, sorta unlikely, but what the hell.
PETER!FIC: Um. So I don't write A/Us, but I decided to try my hand at a 'What if?' fic. So we have an almost-gen fic based around pivotal choices the Marauders make, aka what if James had chosen Sirius as Secret-Keeper?
TIME-TRAVEL!FIC: So I wanted to do a time-travel fic, and my brother, bless his soul, helped with the plotting. At the moment, all I have are eight pages of plotting, but as I am rather keen on the idea of writing Marauder fic, this may change.

OK. *contemplates list* Bugger. It turns out that there is a good reason for me not having any time to do actual uni work...

Sleepy now. Must find bed. *snooze*
