So, the question is, which fandoms do I nominate? I'm torn, I have an entire list. My normal strategy is to weed out anything else heaps of other people are likely to nominate, but that still doesn't narrow it down much.
The current front-runners are:
Kim Stanley Robinson: - The Mars Trilogy
Kim Stanley Robinson - Science in the Capitol Trilogy
FM Busby - The Hulzein/Kerguelen Saga
David Feintuch - The Hope Series (Seafort Saga)
NCIS RPF (SHUTUP I KNOW)
China Mieville - The City & the City
China Mieville - Bas Lag series
RPF 17th/18th C France (ZOMG I love Liselotte, aka Elizabeth Charlotte of the Palatinate, LIKE BURNING)
Hustle
Ashes to Ashes (does this even qualify? It appears to have nowhere near the same amount of fic as Life on Mars, but stil...)
Deadwood
Hellcats (Spunky girl becames cheerleader for the scholarship money, has femslashy adventures, like Bring It On, only ... actually, JUST LIKE Bring It on!)
St Trinian's (because who doesn't love Gemma Arterton with a hockey stick?)

Date: 2010-10-13 02:08 pm (UTC)Last I heard, the plan this year is for fandoms to be passed/rejected on the basis of how many stories are on the AO3 itself so that the process can be automated and stop driving the mods crazy. There are only forty-one Ashes to Ashes fics there, so I'm guessing that would make it eligible if you did nominate it.
