nothing is more frustrating than the word 'sale' beneath an item you've just bought for full price. *seethe*

ok, sure, I'm only out a grand total of probably ten pounds (and my parents another ten), but, still.

It makes me really happy I decided not to buy Season 4 of the X-Files at full price, but only bought seasons 2, 3 and 5 at a reduced one. It makes the agony of the entire X-Files collection at £13.99 a box set at play.com slightly easier to bear.

Also, it makes me want to order season 4. No, must have self-control. have just bought season 1 of angel. do not need xf season 4, at least until i come back from cologne / get my next paycheck / desperately need to see skinner's abs once more.

i know!! it's heartbreaking that we have this ridiculous water-type thiongie between us. grrr.

but, on the other hand, we're going to have west wing s1, and babylon 5 seasons 1 & 2, which are uber-good. so, all is not lost.
