Title: the picture of dawn summers
Fandom: BtVS
Summary: Dawn, post-the Gift.
Afterwards, Dawn wonders why she has no scars, why her wounds healed completely. She wonders if Willow had something to do with it, or maybe Spike did something to her when he carried her home. She wonders if it's a glamour that was part of the bargain all along, or maybe Anya simply plucked away all her pain and squirreled it away. She wonders whether she is at the root of it, and how she could stop herself if it were so.
At night, she sees her sister. Buffy has cuts across her belly, and her arms. She is smiling.

Interesting fic. The way it's written, it's almost as if Dawn's living in a pantheon, and that does often seem to be how she views Buffy and her friends.

Yeah, totally with your later comment - no idea what's going there! (keyboard is possessed? hmmm.)
I'm on a bit of a pro-Dawn kick at the moment, actually, as I'm a big fan of S5, and it's due a re-watching...
