bad prostitution file. no biscuit. *massages your temples carefully* there's some fascinating stuff on jurisprudence re: making prostitution legal/illegal in a book i have somewhere... must dig it out to show you once you come over...

Oh, prostitution is legal here. Just, forcing women into it and abusing them and taking all their money? Not so much.

no, the prostitution thing wasn't about the legel/illegal bits, it was prosecuting abuses within the different set-ups - so, what are the different approaches to legislation in a country where it is legal, and in a country where it is illegal; following on from that, what support is provided by law to victims, and how is the system geared towards dealing with those victims?
