Nip/Tuck goodies

kangeikoThere just isn't enough Nip/Tuck fic out there, despite the exponentially-increasing probability of canon slash between the show's main characters. But, hey, what do I know, I'm just going to coo over them some more. I've got S1 - S3 and the first episode of S4 (which has started showing just this week) on my PC, btw, so if there are any among you desperate to have a look-see, email me and I'll supply you with them *leers in an overcoat-wearing way*.

mandysbitch is probably the definitive N/T fic, set after the threesome in Rose & Raven Rosenberg. It's dirty and hot and unbelievably sweet. It's odd - the one thing that I find missing in most N/T fic is the closeness that already exists between the characters, the kind of Leo&Jed closeness that allows them to joke about being a married couple. In LOST, we had Sawyer asking Jack to "put your mangoes where your mouth is", which elicited millions of squees. In N/T, Sean asks Christian to "look at my balls" and the world is not reacting! Get with the program, people. Have a watch of it, and then follow it up with this fabulous fic which just has everybody in character and doesn't participate in any Julia-hate, either.
I had a look at thenip_tuck comm, btw, and it's... well, it doesn't look very nice, let's put it that way. Bunches of people standing around saying how terrible it would be if Christian was gay because they're crushing on him. Um, seriously, WTF? It's a comm full of 12 year old, wheee!
In other news, I went to the library today, where in their fabulous book sale I found a Stormwatch TPB and also pratchett's The Colour of Magic graphic novel. This is me happy =).
Must actually do some work on the Aliases ficathon fic, as it is currently KICKING MY ARSE. Not literally, you understand, I have not athropomorphised it, but in a figurative sense it is screwing me with my pants on. Weirdly, the problem is not that I can't think of anything to write about, but that I have TOO MANY ideas and want to do something with them all, without rewatching the entirety of the show to check that my character progression is fine. This is a problem when you want to put 68 ideas into one fic, so I am being good and actually slicing my way through them indiscriminately, picking out things that fit and things that don't and occasionally poking it with a stick.
However, I also need to watch the second half of S1 of LOST, as I now have the DVD mwahahaha. Also, I am hungover and Sawyer is required to brighten up my field of vision.

The fic-writing part of my flist appears to be on holiday. *dangles cake*
