New layout... what do we think? Yes/No? I've never opted for a non-monochrome layout before, and the cycling thing wasn't working for me, so... there are a few other options by this particular designer, and they are all rather spiffy, but doubtless somewhat lacking in the monochrome dept...

Did you leave your blue jacket here? Because I saw a blue jacket by Zara Woman with brass buttons on it. I thought it was athena's, but I've just checked and it's not hers - is that the one? If so, let me know which address you're at at the mo, and I'll send it across...

Yes! I got the email - but not the lj comment notification for this! Dude, WTF? I sincerely hope it won't be as bad as a few months ago, when I got a bunch of notifications for comments I'd received... a year previous. *headdesk*

Pretty! It's very nearly monochrome-- subdued colors, with some more tastefully intense. I love the picture of the woman. The only nitpick I have is that the banner covers up the navigation bar. You could just move it down a bit, and that'd be fine. I like the links, and in fact got distracted from hitting "post comment" for half an hour because I was reading your meta tag. :*

Yeah, that's why I chose it - I really liked the pic. OTOH, I'm also tempted by a similarly sparse layout with a header of Natalie Portman being gorgeous and red-lipped, so, you know...

Hee! Well, the links I brought in from my old layout - 'chopsticks' under 'expressive' styles s2 - which I found incredibly handy for organising and also helping people browse, etc.

I really like it. It's subdued enough to not be overpowering, but the colour that there is and the picture are really beautiful.

Thanks - yeah, that's why I chose it initially. I'm still a bit ambivalent about it, because I loved my old layout so much, but we'll see how it goes...
