I had a date tonight. No beating about the bush - it was awful. The guy was pretty much everything I despise in a person, and I couldn't wait to get away. Urgh.

Here are five fictional characters that I want on my side when the apocalypse comes.

1. Buffy. Because she's got a fighting chance of actually stopping said apocalypse.

2. Zoe. She's got a big gun, she's hard as nails, she can keep everyone (including smart-arses like Mal) in line, and she can keep her cool when the sky is exploding.

3. Cordelia. Pre-cog, can fight, has proven ability to not fall to itty bitty pieces in the event of the world exploding. Not so useful after she's all evil and demon-y.

4. Locke. Can find food, make things out of bits of wood, and jury-rig just about anything.

5. Julian Bashir. Doctor experienced in working in a warzone, 'nuff said.
