Faith fic-a-thon - SIGN-UPS OPEN!

Ladies and gentlemen, lads and ladettes,

Kindly direct your attention to ninebillion, a community set up by myself and darlas_mom to host the long-promised multifandom faith/religion fic-a-thon. If, like us, you've wanted to try your hand at writing about religion, or the tricky bits of a character's faith or lack thereof but have been dissuaded by just how a touchy a subject it can be nowadays...

Well, I'm not going to lie to you, it's still a touchy subject. But that's why we have ninebillion! It's a safe, supportive community where you can write, and discuss, and ask awkward questions. There is a host of resources, and beta readers, and willing readers.

There is also a fic exchange. Because we like gift-giving.

SIGN-UPS

You can sign up by clicking on the link above. The relevant dates are:
Sign ups close 1 Feb, assignments go out 6 Feb, and fics are due 15 March.

There will probably be pie, handed out in a singularly arbitrary manner. Just because we can.

There will most certainly be shiny new graphics & linkies you can snag, just as soon as we upload them. But don't wait for the adverts! Beat the rush and sign-up today.

(Smallprint: all pie will be virtual pie, no exchanges or refunds if you end up with a flavour of pie you do not like.)

Come join! *bounces* There'll be fic - no actual writing required until you are not buried under mountains of paper. Plus! Bunches of people geeking out over research! (& pie!) What more could any women need? :) *eg*

Seriously, though, it's gonna be an on-going thing, we hope - the fic exchange will occur again next Epiphany if it goes well this year, but we're having an on-going prompts claim list, and research funness, and chat, and general support for big scary topics in fic. *nods firmly*
