Happy world of happy joy
13 Apr 2005 09:55 pmToday, I decided to turn down the job offer. Mainly because it stinks. I will instead apply for the six or seven bright and shiny jobs in this week's Society Guardian, ranging from a diversity officer to a political lobbyist.
They offer actual money and won't require me to move 400 miles. Ha! *big smile*
We are also one whole episode away from the death of Byron, hurrah! Then there was the excessive stroking of episodes 9 and 10 (kingdom of the blind and a tragedy of telepaths?) that involved hands over sleeves, hands over cuffs, hands over the chest area (remove your hands, G'Kar, stop copping a feel!!) and oh, hands hands hands.
Since the Lack of Hate (TM) materialised, Londo and G'Kar can't seem to stop touching each other.
athena25 watched and checked. It's true.
Mmmmm, tassles. *slurp*

Date: 2005-04-13 09:44 pm (UTC)Yeah, ok. I saw the snarkiness but honest to goodness touching was just screened off inexplicably. It was only when I began to watch for that OMG they will not stop with the touching! And it's not just touching, it's stroking and caressing and petting and is Londo completely whipped or what?
"Londo - spirit Na'Toth away to your impressive battleship!"
"But, er, I'm likely to end up dead..."
"For me?" *simper*
*sigh* "Of course darling, whatever you say..."
Well, something akin to that, anyway...

"You know how you going all macho turns me on, so yeah, why not."
Also? That Centauri lady totally thought she was in for a threesome.

They had some damn good sex on that cruiser, I'm telling you. With Na'Toth as an inadvertent voyeur.
*pause*
I think that I've developed an 'inadvertent voyeur' kink. What do you think?

I have to point out here that Londo is an extremely physical creature anyway. The first time he touches G'Kar in a non-aggressive way is actually in Born to the Purple when he "thanks" him for helping to save his reputation; he does the touch on the arm thing there, too. And note that G'Kar doesn't throw a fit until after Londo has let go and smugly moved on.
They were subtexting even then, I'm telling ya...

Is that a rethorical question?
Also, too good not to share:

ABC showed it, it's not a spoiler.
Did anyone catch how the preview for next week's Alias contained one of the top, oh, three most slashiest things one male character has said to another in the history of the world? And that they were in the totally proper setting for the line?
Not a bad episode either, but that SCENE in the preview!

would you mind giving all the details - who, what, where etc? I don't watch Alias anymore but I am still a staunch fan of all things slashy!

Jack and Arvin are in a men's room, and Jack, holding a gun to Sloane's head, says, "Give me one good reason I shouldn't do to you what I did to my wife." You can't just throw dialogue like that around.
