I am writing. Essay is being written. Yes! *punches air*

I am also only very mildly hung over from last night, due to excessive amount of camomile tea drunk in ancient Prevention of Hangover recipe before bed.

Party was... eventful. Once my dissertation is finished, it is being mailed to the charities' commission. Because it turns out that an ex-Bedlamite now works there. Is helping set policy. And wants to read it. *minor squee*

Must write some more essay. Need to find more synonyms for 'white/Western bias' without using: racist or culturalist. Grr, argh. OTOH, have written c. 500 not-that-terrible words (out of 3000, but, still).

Mmmm, toast.

Marshall hugged him in the last but one episode in the enthusiasm of a moment, but I think that's not quite what you meant.*g* (Also, our Arvin didn't look exactly thrilled.) Anyway, don't worry, we all know Jack isn't going to do it.

Am v. v. amused by how reaction to this promo split into a majority and a minority opinion.

Majority: "Aw. Jack called Irina HIS WIFE. He still loves her! Sloane is going to get it!"

Minority: "Wow. Was that the slashiest thing Jack ever said to Arvin or what? How did this pass the censors? Bring on the Jack/Sloane!"

Yes. One more reason for him to miss Emily terribly. Although, last episode there was a nice hug from... err, how you spoiled are you or rather, how far did you get with season 3?

My way of thinking precisely. The ideal epilogue for the season 4 finale, in which you know who is supposed to come back, would be a First Generation Spies Threesome. Problem solved. I don't think Irina would object. Or Sloane. They just have to bring Jack around!
