absolute gash, i tell you.
essay has stalled at 1,200 words, the last 200 of which are a bit poo. grr, argh. it is half one in the morning and i am debating whether i should go to bed (for to attempt the getting out of bed bright and early) or to stay up and read for Essay v. 2.0, which is on something completely different. *stomp* not impressed, not impressed at all.
on the other hand,
athena25 and i managed to make zelye two days ago (it takes two days of sitting in the fridge and reheating to make it zelye. otherwise it's lukewarm, freshly prepared zelye, which must be as horrible as fresh spoo). it aged nicely, but tasted rather mild, so i'm wondering if i shredded it finely enough. the worry is, of course, that it'll end up mush if it's too finely shredded, but otherwise it won't necessarily cook through.
it did, though. cook through. we ate half the dish. and it's a big dish. and, because it's zelye and the main component is cabbage, we suddenly both realised that we'd overeaten, completely and utterly, and couldn't move.
must do work, damnit. *props eyelids up*
