Set pre-series, based on something said in In Dreams. Like throwing salt over your left shoulder, you keep a sharp knife tucked into your clothing at all times.

One of the (manymanymany) things I love about In Dreams is the Look Nadia gives Sydney when Cloane is talking about Jack removing those eight fingers. Because it's not moral horror so much as 'ick, did we really need to know this?'

Er. Also. *shamed look* I may not have the multiverse thing finished by the end of today. *hangs head* I am massively blocked, and don't think that it'll get done. I am so very, very sorry.
