Where I'm too jaded to be outraged

Via monanotlisa: Sci-fi: validating rape since 2009.

I would be outraged if I could summon the energy. But the saddest part is this doesn't surprise me that much. Even some of the nicely brought up young men I know have/ had some of these attitudes. To which I have responded by beating them with a clue stick. Isn't it nice to know that modern tv does its best to validate such reprehensible attitudes?

.... the entire thing reads like bad 16 year old fanfic.

We ran a bodyswap thing in an RPG I was in and there was a lot of 'no, please don't use my body' and some charries giving consent for the 'lodger' to use their bodies but I don't actually think anyone went NEAR the whole using it without permission bit.

This is possibly because most of the players are girls.

I've read the original post in question and was amazed by the levels of fail that guy showed.
