Preview for the 11th Doctor

At the risk of being spoilery, WTF was the Doctor doing shooting a gun? This is the new Doctor? *fume* I'm hoping that it was some elaborate Not-Gun, because I don't like the idea of a Doctor who is suddenly happy with carrying weapons.

Also, I need an awesome Donna icon.

It makes really uncomfortable too. I think there's another moment he mimes having one too (if I remember correctly). I dunno, it kinda makes me feel like Moffat is gonna throw out everything that could potentially make the Doctor "not cool." But, uh, that's what makes him cool.

Two things:

1) We don't see what he's shooting at.

2) The Doctor has been known to carry weapons before, although he rarely ends up shooting people. See: The Seeds of Doom, Resurrection of the Daleks and also Dalek and The End of Time. He did shoot some Cybermen in Attack of the Cybermen, which is the only time I can recall him killing anything with a gun. This is something that's been seen before.
