I just locked most of my F1 fix to private (you put it in a closed collection and no one can see it) and I feel SO much better. I'll have a think about what to do about the rest. But I don't feel like I can engage with fandom on my own terms if my fic is accessible / more people are turning up in my inbox demanding drabbles like entitled cuckoos. So I locked it down entirely for the moment while I think things through. A few fics are up there as they were gifts, but I might get the person to take a copy and then lock them as well. RELIEF.

quick question: would referring to the Monaco's princess as 'the real Monaco Prize' be offensive if Nico was using it as innuendo (meaning, he's now the princess of Monaco, and having him would be as if Lewis had really won)?

I think it's fine? I mean Lewis might raise an eyebrow at it (I want the cup AND the princess) but Nico has amazing eyebrows, he could waggle his way through it...

Ah, so that's what happened. Two nights ago I was in a very, very dark mood and looking to re-read some of my favorite shippy fics (that's how I work through depression, go figure). I saw that yours were showing as locked in my bookmarks and I almost started breathing fire at AO3, thinking it was the site acting up.

I'm so sorry that it's come to this. I've been in enough fandoms that effectively drove away their most talented and passionate members to be heartbroken every time it happens.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that. If there was anything in particular you needed a copy of, just let me know & I'll send you an offline copy. I'll likely un-hide them in a couple of months, I just need a little time to settle myself IRL and sort out online presence. But yeah, tumblr fandom isn't for me. :/
