Make a list of all the characters in your icons. (Although you may have more than one icon of a single character, they only go on the list once.) Alphabetize it. Take the first two people on the list; that's your first pairing. Second two people; second pairing. Etc.
Right: I've removed any characters who didn't have names (e.g. comic book guy from The Simpsons), and also the one random one from Desolation Jones because I can't find the character's name. The rest – in alphabetical order by surname, unless they only have one name – are paired here:
Alfred Bester & Boo (Monsters, Inc.) – aka Uncle Al's babysitting.
Carrie Bradshaw / Jack Bristow - "And then I realised: we weren't having sex in his ex-wife's metaphorical shadow. We were having sex in her actual shadow. And I wondered: is it ever okay to run out of the hotel room without paying the bill when someone's pointing a gun at your head?" Although I don't actually see Jack being seduced. By Sam, maybe. David Lister / Marvin the Paranoid Android - *pause* Not so much with the whole sex thing, but I reckon that some fun conversations could be had.
Londo Mollari / Narrator (Fight Club) - No. Because... no.
