Cleaning House List

Because I need these things to remind me of what needs to be done. Does not include the biggie of: complete packing.

Anyway -


General:
repaint bits from picture frames etc

Living Room:
1) Windows: done.
2) Fireplace: done.
3) Door: done.
4) skirting board (or that bit wot runs around the entire room and is there solely to collect dust)
5) Hoover & scrub carpet

Kitchen:
1) Windows: done.
2) Cupboards: have washed 2 cupboards & drawer on left hand side of cooker, and also wine rack, and drawers beneath hob. Must wash all others. Must also wash top of highest cupboards (or get athena25 to do it, as cannot reach).
3)Larder: done
4) walls
5) frige (defrost & clean)
6) freezer (defrost & clean)
7) sweep & mop floor
8) wipe down computer table surface
9) clean cookbook alcove
10) clean hob & oven & grill
11) clean door

My room:
1) sweep & mop floor
2) clean window
3) clean inside of alcove
4) repaint

Hall & stairs:
1) windows - 1st and ground floor
2) banisters
3) carpet: hoover & clean
4) clean doors

Bathrooms:
1) finish removing limescale from bath & fittings
2) remove all own bathroom fittings
3) repaint
4) sweep & mop
5) clean windows, esp the white bit that refuses to stay white without eighty-four lemons each week
6) doors
7) loo
8) behind & under washing machine
9) inside cupboards



Okay, what have I missed?

Also, two days of cleaning appear to have produced exactly NO results. We are so not going to be done for Saturday. *despairs* Saturday, for those who don't know, is Designated Moving Day of DOOM, following Friday, which is Designated Also Moving Day of Doom, wherein we load up the van and continue cleaning.

Why are you repainting the bathroom? Is that realy necessary in rented accomadation? Also, you don't have to do everything yourself!

just the bits wot had piccies or scratches on, not the entire bathroom.

and athena25 is helping. except that she is incredibly poorly, so i'm dosing her with tea and drugs in between cleaning. on the other hand, she is providing food, so i am grateful.

oh god. have been cleaning for two days. cannot lift arms.
