I had such a great time at

chocolateboxcomm last year that this year I decided to go all-out on prompts and requests. The below are only there to give you a kick-start if you're wondering what sort of things I like, please don't feel bound by them if inspiration strikes somewhere else! I've requested fanfic for all.

Likes: snark! canon-compliant scenes, messing with power differentials, enemies/antagonists forced to work together, insecurities being addressed, characters owning up to screwing up, apologies, trust. Protectiveness / family / team / squad feelings. People having each others' backs. "Enemy Mine" / "Only I get to fight him!" tropes. First-times in shippy fic, or getting-together in shippy fic.

Kinks: first times, someone being fussed over who normally doesn't get that in canon, first-times, hair-pulling or neck-biting, first times! FIRST TIIIIIIMES. ALSO: sloppy blowjobs, semi-realistic sex, all the kissing IN THE WORLD, finger-sucking and general hand-fixation.

DNWs:

1) Universe-altering AUs such as coffee-shop, high school, soulbonding/soulmates.

2) Some sex-based squicks - underage, scat, watersports, other non-sexual bodily fluids, heavy BDSM, daddy kink and role play, omegaverse, mpreg, non-con/rape (dub-con and sex pollen are fine).

3) Others: please don't kill off any of the requested characters, or any of the canon's named characters outside of canonical deaths (any bad guys and OCs are fair game).

A million years ago, I did the 100 fandoms challenge - writing fic via a prompt table for 100 fandoms, most of which I'd never written for before. It was equal parts terrifying and hilarious, and I found a bunch of new fandoms as a result.

So, my challenge is - write a drabble or a small ficlet in a fandom you've never written for before. It doesn't have to be anything big, it doesn't have to be pretty, and it doesn't have to be a certain number of words. Just one ficlet, one new fandom. (And if you want to stretch yourself, 3 new ficlets in 3 new fandoms). And tell me about it if you do go ahead with the challenge so I can see what amazing fic you've written!

Also... if you're having a bad day or would otherwise like some cheering up, leave me a note with a prompt in one of the fandoms I'm familiar with and I'll write you a drabble or short ficlet as comment-fic.

I've got this week off so I'm making a bit of an effort to catch up on a few fandom bits and pieces. First off, given what has been happening to the LJ servers, I'll no longer be cross-posting there. I'll also be taking down more sensitive posts, including photos etc. I won't delete my LJ because I use it to read communities, but if you follow me on both, please be aware that I'll only be (sporadically) updating my DW.

Secondly, although I was signed up for Yuletide this year, I sadly had to default fairly early on due to health issues. However, I received some amazing gifts just to same. These are so wonderfully in character, and I am absolutely thrilled with them. Please do give them some love!

Approximately twenty million years ago (in 2006!), I started

andraste 's 100 fandoms challenge ( table ). I am finally nearing the end, with only 6 fandoms left to cover. So, I'm taking prompts: fandom, character, key word (the 6 remaining are key, dust, clip, waves, lighting, trailed). The catch is, it has to be for fandoms I haven't written for before (the list of covered fandoms is below the table). But of course, I haven't written for ages, so that should be fairly easy.
