So, I'm now more or less equally split between DW and LJ. I post to DW and crosspost to LJ, and I have a reading on each (sort of). If I have someone on DW I read them there and try to comment there, with LJ for those on my flist who haven't moved to DW for whatever reason.

I'm wondering if I should disable posting on my LJ (future posts only). What do you think?

Should I disable comments on LJ (while still crossposting to DW and LJ)?

I figure this has made its way around the internets already, but it bears saying -

Should you wish to partake of LJ's new 'enhacements' that allow you to crosspost quotes/comments from friends-locked entries to Facebook and Twitter, that's fine. But please let me know so that I can unfriend you and limit your access to my public posts. More information on this here.

Should anyone wish to move to DW as a result of this, I have 7 DW invite codes to facilitate that.

My userpics subscription came up for renewal at LJ a few days ago and, like a lemon, I automatically renewed it for 12 months. My annual paid account subscription is probably due for renewal in a few months, and I am now starting to think about whether I want to renew that (possibly for 6 more months, rather than a year, and then look at phasing out completely).

So, the question is, do I then move over to DW completely, and let my LJ reset to a default free account? Do I - gulp - pay for two paid accounts at the same time? (this seems a little excessive, given that I already have an IJ permanent account) And if I choose to opt for a DW paid account, do I go for a normal one or a premium one? What's the difference? Will a technophobe like myself really be able to figure out the use of all the additional features, or will they just sit there?

I think I've figured out how to import all my LJ posts, so that's not an issue. Question is, is it worth it? How are people dealing with running two (or more) parallel accounts?
